For now, I am a resident of this quaint little world in the far corner of the spiral arm of this galaxy… My days are spent drifting between work and my writing. I am sharing my stories with those that would like to read them. I am continual working on developing and improving my writing style and voice. Devil's Bargain — Follow up to Requiem for a Spartan (Buffy/HALO crossover) As an interesting side note, I had originally planned to go much darker with this story (I still have the rough outline and chapters) and have Faith and Angel die and Buffy being badly wounded. Sunnydale would get nuked in the final confrontation, but as I wrote it I couldn't reconcile that a Spartan would turn that dark, they would do dark things but for a greater good.

It's been a while...

I know, I haven't posted any new journal entries in quite awhile. Have been busy on a number of fronts both with work and home, all the while struggling to find time and energy to write. I completed the edit/rewrite for "Shadows of the Apocalypse" and I was debating on my next project. I decided to start the edit/rewrite of "Storm of Shadows". At this point, I've completed 5 chapters of the edit.

Well, we've reached the mid-point of 2019... I finally finished doing my editing and "minor" rewrite of my story "Shadows of the Apocalypse". Considering it is 46 Chapters and 240,000 words, this has been a lot of work (started over a year ago). I'm glad that it's done. It's one of my favorite works and I think the editing has improved the story. I've been printing my stories out into books and because of the size of this work makes it hard to do a hard copy, I've actually broken this story into two separate stories to make the whole series a trilogy. I figure I will just call the whole series "Shadows of the Apocalypse". The book versions

2019 is almost here...

Well another year has come and gone. It feels like I haven't done much, but it has been a busy year filled with change. I haven't done as much writing as I wanted and have been stalled since October on doing editing and some rewrites of my current stories. I'm hoping that I can get over this mental hump and get back into writing. Anyway just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and all the best for 2019.
